Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Location: Montevideo, MN
Hello everyone! My Name is Black Bean (aka Raven). My story starts off ruff. I was found by a dumpster trying to fend for myself. I was a bit mangy and malnourished, but full of life. I had to learn fast how to be brave, independent, and tough. It's a good thing I was found and taken in by the Rescue Network because my foster mama really needed me! I have to wake her up every morning so she gets to work on time. I make sure she get out for exercise and get fresh air. I follow her around to supervise her other activities and to protect her from "bad things". At night, I snuggle with her so she can fall asleep and get plenty of rest. I do sometimes sleep in my kennel, when I need to get my beauty sleep because my foster mom snores.
I get along with other doggos especially if they do what I tell them to do. I adore toys. I especially love to play tug and chew on soft toys. I haven't met any small humans yet, but I am sure I will love them!
I am very affectionate! I love giving kisses and cuddles when I'm tuckered out from playing. I am working really hard on my potty training (my mama said I am doing great) and I almost have sit. I will do anything for treats, so training is fun! I am looking for a human who needs guidance, love, affection, exercise and a forever friend.

The best way to show interest in an animal is to submit an adoption application by visiting our website (www.rescuenetworkmn.org).
Adoption fee includes spay/neuter, all age-appropriate vaccinations (distemper, rabies, and bordetella), heartworm and flea/tick preventatives, heartworm test (dogs), FIV/FeLV test (cats), dewormed, and microchip implant (including registration).
Rescue Network is strictly foster based which means all adoptable animals are in a home and there cannot be a meet until an application is submitted and approved. We have no way of knowing the breeds in the animals. All breeds listed are best guess.
