Zoelle is incredibly social, sweet and loving with every single human she meets. She purrs loudly and often and loves to meet new people. While she doesn't love being picked up, she is ok with it in a pinch and will turn any opportunity into lap-time for pets and purrs. Truly one of the most immediately social and affectionate cats ever. She is also very independent, showing no signs of anxiety if left alone - she wants to cuddle when you are around but is also content left to her own devices.
She will happily sleep with you, or in her own little box (she likes an enclosed bed to go to for naps). She is very playful and enjoys a variety of toys she can chase and catch, particularly feathered or fluffy things, but has shown no destructive or scratching tendencies. She has not had much success socializing with other cats since coming inside, and may do best in a single-cat household. It is unknown how she would respond to dogs or young children.

We currently rely on our amazing web of generous fosters throughout the Philadelphia area and will do our best to make a meeting as convenient as possible for both human + animal.
