My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

f you’re looking for a fun, goofy, energetic pup to brighten your holidays and beyond — Roscoe is your guy!

This one-year-old Lab/Boxer mix has been with us for a couple of months now, and wow… what a transformation! When he first arrived, Roscoe was unsure of the world and needed time to learn that people could be kind. But with patience, training, and lots of love, he has blossomed into the confident, playful, happy boy he was always meant to be.

And now?

Roscoe is ready to find a forever home just in time for the holidays.

Here’s what makes Roscoe amazing:

Plays beautifully with other dogs

Total water dog — swimming is his favorite activity

Housebroken and crate trained

Big, silly puppy energy and lots of personality

Thriving with training — and eager to learn more

Roscoe would love:

A home with another playful dog

An adult-only household

Someone who enjoys adventure — hikes, playtime, water fun, car rides

A family willing to continue building on his training (we’ll help with that!)

To help Roscoe keep growing, Rover’s Do Over will contribute to continued sessions with his trainer for his adopter. We believe so much in this boy and want to set him up for lifelong success.

Choosing to adopt from a foster-based rescue
like Rdo comes with unique benefits:
Personalized Care: Our dogs live in foster homes where they receive individualized attention, training, and socialization. This helps us understand their personalities and needs, making it easier to match them with the right family.
Behavioral Insights: Foster families can provide detailed information about a dog's behavior, preferences, and any special needs, helping you make an informed decision.
Smooth Transition: Dogs from foster homes are often better adjusted to home environments, making the transition to their forever homes smoother and less stressful.
Support System: Our foster families and volunteers are dedicated to providing ongoing support and advice to adopters, ensuring a successful adoption experience.
