At 8 years old, Shania is a total heart-stealer who’s ready to trade her country life for the cozy comforts of indoor living — permanently this time! She’s already proven that she’s happiest as an indoor queen, lounging in soft spots and soaking up all the love she can get.
✅ What Makes Shania Shine: 💕 Incredibly affectionate — she’s equal parts snuggles and sass! 🐕 Got along well with small dogs in a previous home 🧸 Great with respectful kids 🐾 Playful for her age — she’ll surprise you with her bursts of zoomies! 🏠 Fully housetrained and ready to settle into home life 🐈 Prefers to be the only cat (she’s earned her solo spotlight!)
💬 What She’s Looking For: A patient, loving family who will let her adjust at her own pace and promise her that she never has to live outdoors again. Shania may need a little time to open up, but once she does, she’ll be your shadow, your comedian, and your cuddle buddy all in one.
✨ Give this golden-hearted girl her happily ever after — she’s waited long enough. Apply to meet Shania today!
Shania’s adoption fee has been lovingly sponsored by Deanna R., a dedicated supporter who has sponsored several cats because she believes every animal deserves a home filled with unconditional love. Deanna who shares her life with several rescued cats knows that every animal deserves a family who will love them forever. Thanks to her kindness, Shania is one step closer to finding her happily ever after! If you are interested in learning more or would like to set up a meet-and-greet please fill out an adoption application on our website: www.hsbcpets.com/adopt

More about this shelter
The Humane Society of Barron County is a non-profit, no-kill animal shelter serving Barron County and surrounding areas.
Established in 1978 by a small but dedicated group of core volunteers, the HSBC started out with these volunteers taking animals into their own homes and advertising the need for forever homes for these animals. Over the years, since this humble beginning the HSBC has grown into the organization that it is today. From the homes of volunteers, relying on fundraising and the generous donations of our community, we have grown into and remain in our home on Guy Avenue in Barron.
HSBC is operated by a small staff and relies heavily on volunteers, as well as funds from donations, adoptions, memberships and fundraisers to keep our doors open for the animals needing our assistance.
We sincerely thank you for making this possible.
