Meet Goldie – A Gentle Soul Looking for a Quiet Home
Goldie is a beautiful little kitten with a tender heart. She may be shy at first, but with a little patience and a calm, quiet home, her sweet personality will shine through. Once she feels safe, she’s incredibly loving and enjoys playing with her toys and snuggling up with her siblings.

Goldie has been exposed to both cats and dogs and would do best in a peaceful environment where she can settle in at her own pace. If you’re someone who understands that the best relationships are built on trust and time, Goldie will reward you with her quiet affection and gentle purrs.

All cats are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, treated for fleas and ear mites, tested for FELV/FIV and microchipped. You must fill out an adoption application and talk directly with one of our adoption coordinators. An adoption contract must be signed at time of adoption.

You may visit The Cat House daily, except major holidays, 1-4 pm, by appointment only. We also have an off-site adoption center located inside Petco at 4144 N. Blackstone at Ashlan in Fresno, which is open open daily 10am-5pm and Wednesday 10am-6pm.

The Cat House on the Kings is California's largest no-cage, no-kill, lifetime cat sanctuary and adoption center located on 12 acres along the Kings River in Parlier, California, which is in the central San Joaquin Valley, southeast of Fresno.

At The Cat House, our mission is to:
1) provide a no-cage, no-kill sanctuary for feral and abandoned cats and kittens for the State of California, primarily serving the Central Valley;
2) facilitate the adoption of cats (primarily), dogs and other rescued animals into safe, loving, healthy and permanent homes;
3) educate the public on how to become directly involved in improving the quality of animal welfare;
4) offer low cost spay and neuter referrals.
