My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

GREEK FOOD THEMED KITTEN:  Approx. 7 months old / Approx. 7 lbs. & growing

Hi, my name is Falafel!  My siblings and I came to Mostly Mutts from animal control several months ago.  We went to a great foster home, and my siblings have all been adopted.  I’m now ready to meet my new family and have a great life with them!

• OTHER CATS/DOGS/KIDS:  I get along with the other kitties in my foster home.  I may enjoy another kitty in my new home.  If you have a nice kitty at home who may enjoy a kitten friend, let’s meet! / Dogs unknown / Children in my new home may be nice, since I am a playful kitten.  Best they are gentle and know how to handle a kitten, and – of course, let’s meet!

• PERSONALITY INFORMATION:  My foster describes me as ‘a great kitty’.  I can be a little shy at first and usually prefer to approach people once they are settled rather than having them come to me.  Once I have found a lap though – my purrs of appreciation are epic!  I’m very playful and enjoy a variety of kitty toys.  Equal parts affectionate and fun, I’ll be a wonderful furry family member for a lucky family!

• SKILLS/LITTER TRAINED STATUS:  I am litter trained, though I am an aggressive digger – so I may do best with a litter box that has a lid.

• LIKES/DISLIKES:  Play time is the best time!  My foster always laughed when my brother and I (before his adoption) were in our room alone, the crashes and shenanigans were as entertaining as if they were in the room with us!  I love the spinner ball toy and enjoy chasing it around.  Although, you are just as likely to find me sitting on a windowsill watching the world go by.  Is it a coincidence that I have a ‘foodie’ name, as I love being with my foster in the kitchen?  Check out my video on the various adoption sites where my profile appears.  I know how to rock a chef’s hat!  Lol.  / I can’t think of any dislikes since I am a kitten, but I would not be happy if I did not get the love and attention all kitties deserve!

• MEDICAL:  I’m up-to-date on my kitten shots, neutered, and microchipped.

I am looking for a loving home with a wonderful family for life!  My adoption fee is $175.00, and I’m located in Kennesaw, Ga.

Mostly Mutts Animal Rescue & Adoption's Adoption Process

Our facility is currently open to the public Monday-Saturday, 11-3. We welcome you to come meet our adoptable Mutts & Kitties! Please keep in mind the following:

Many of our adoptable Mutts & Kitties are in foster homes, so please call 770-272-6888 to find out if the pet you are interested in is at our facility. With an approved application we can set up meet & greets and adoptions with a pet in foster care.
We are not yet up to full ‘staffing’ following the pandemic, so there may be times when we cannot do meet & greets or process an application on the spot.
The best first step is to submit an application via www.mostlymutts.org.
Our adoption counselors are happy to help make a great match for you and your family!

Adoption Info:
Please submit an application through our website at www.mostlymutts.org if you are interested in one of our adoptable pets. We are receiving a large volume of applications and processing may take a little bit longer than normal. We are grateful for your interest, and an adoption counselor will be in touch as quickly as possible. Please give us 48 hours to respond before sending a follow-up email.

Don’t see a dog or cat for you on the website? Submit the application anyway!! We are taking in a large number of dogs and cats weekly. Due to the overwhelming demand, many are matched with approved applicants prior to being posted online. Our adoption counselors will be happy to help make a great match for you and your family.

Thank you for your patience and support!

Who We Are:

Mostly Mutts is a 501(c)3, non-profit organization, staffed almost entirely by volunteers!

Our Mission is to help the Unwanted, Abandoned, Abused and Sick animals in our local counties. We fulfill this mission by working closely with County Animal Control Facilities, saving those who are in imminent danger of euthanasia, or those with needs which require specialized vet care that many other groups will not consider: major orthopedic issues, heartworm positive treatment, skin conditions, neglect and abuse
