Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Hera! Hera is a shy yet curious sweetheart, with a graceful and quiet presence. You will often find her staring up at you with her stunning, soulful eyes, waiting for you to gently reach down and pet her or offer her a Churu treat. She greets her foster parents in the morning by cautiously walking over and waiting for pets or leaning in gently for chin scratches. Hera is beginning to venture onto her foster mom's lap and will happily stick around if there is a tube treat on offer! She enjoys resting at her foster mom's feet or up against her leg while watching TV. Hera loves ALL the toys and has a blast playing with springs, wands, balls, or her toy mousey. She also enjoys zooming around the house with her big brother or her other kitten buddies. Hera is good with being picked up gently, and while she’s not a full-fledged lap cat yet, she’s coming along and learning about the wonders and warmth of cuddling with her people. Hera is deeply bonded with her brother, Zeus, who serves as her emotional anchor, helping her feel safe and secure. They’ve given each other comfort and confidence as they’ve overcome the challenges of their young lives. They have so much love to give, and are ready to thrive in a calm, quiet home that will celebrate their progress and understand that trust takes a little time. They would do best in a home with adults or older children who are willing to be patient with them, as the energy of young children would be too scary for these sweeties. They are good with friendly cats, but dogs are unknown.
Hera was rescued as a very scared kitten. She spent the first few months of her life outdoors. Never having known the kindness of humans, she was very frightened at first. With time and patience, she began to give love a chance. She has since blossomed into a wonderfully sweet and curious companion. She now enjoys pets and scratches and follows her foster parents around the house.
If you’re looking for a deep, meaningful, and loving bond, join Hera and Zeus on their journey. They are blossoming into the love bugs they’re longing to be!
