My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Phoebe is a sweet, goofy pit mix who loves to play hard and cuddle harder (~4years old). She’s a loyal companion who loves her people, enjoys long walks, and loves romping around a fenced yard with our other dog. Phoebe would do best in a home without young children as she becomes anxious around toddlers and babies. However, she does great with older kids (10+) and adults who understand dogs.

She’s on Prozac, which has helped her relax and reduced her old resource-guarding behaviors. Phoebe can be selective with other dogs, especially large fluffy ones, so slow introductions are best. She’s very food-motivated (and a champion sock thief/eater), so her new family will need to keep those items out of reach.

Phoebe also has manageable allergies and takes daily medication. She loves sweaters in cold weather and hates wet grass/rain. With the right home, she’ll be the most loving, snuggly sidekick you could ask for. Please reach out with any questions! We’re happy to share more about her!
