Meet Iris!

Iris is such a total SWEETHEART! She is estimated to be about 2-3 years old and this gorgeous tuxie girl has been given a second chance at an amazing life after being rescued from living on the streets. Iris is a TOTAL LOVEBUG. She cannot get enough head bumps and chin scritches -- literally all she wants is to be with you. She is completely blind in her left eye, but that doesn't stop her!

Iris is so gentle and sweet, wonderful with children and other animals. She is an incredible girl who has just been a treat to foster. She cannot WAIT to find a forever family that will truly appreciate what a wonderful gal she is.

Iris is spayed, vaccinated, disease tested and microchipped and will come with all medical records.

Their adoption process

1.
Submit Application

Browse our adoptable cats and complete an application! Your application is good for one year for any cat(s) in our program.

2.
Interview

We will process your application and contact you with any questions.

3.
Meet the Pet

Once approved, we will put you in contact with the foster parent of the cat you wish to meet! Schedule a meet&greet virtually or in-person.

4.
Sign Adoption Contract

Once you've met your match, your foster will walk you through signing the adoption contract and paying the adoption fee! Happy Tails!

Additional adoption info

All of our cats are spayed/neutered, vaccinated (age-appropriate), tested for FIV and FeLV, microchipped, dewormed and treated for fleas before adoption. We expect your current pets to be as well.

Our adoption fees are as follows:
$90 for any cat over 6 months
$150 for a pair of cats over 6 months
$125 for a kitten under 6 months
$210 for two kittens under 6 months

We have many wonderful cats and kittens for adoption!

We do adoptions generally by appointment only. All of our cats are fostered in individual foster homes throughout the Baltimore Metro Area. Meet/Greets can be arranged virtually, at the foster's home, at an adoption event, and/or at a mutually agreed upon venue (e.g. Petco or Petsmart). We hold adoption events periodically throughout the Baltimore Metro area, including Petco Gambrills, Petco Owings Mills, Loyal Companion Baltimore, and others!

The Feline Rescue Association (FRA) is dedicated to improving the lives of unwanted and homeless cats and kittens, be they friendly or feral, through rescue, adoption and spay and neuter. Our cats/kittens are fully vetted with age appropriate vaccines, spayed/neutered, microchipped, dewormed, tested for FIV/FeLV. We expect adopters pets to be as well.
