This little charmer may only have one eye and a toothless grin, but he makes up for it with a huge personality. Pepe gets along well with other dogs, though he’ll do best in a home without children since he can be a bit feisty at times.
Pepe’s past hasn’t slowed him down - he came to us with a previously broken jaw that healed on its own, so he does best with soft food. While he has a couple of teeth left, his heart murmur means we won’t be pursuing further dental work. At the moment, he isn’t on any long-term medications, just some ear medication for a minor infection.
He is about 8 years old and a whopping 6 lbs.

2. Meet your prospective pet. If your application to adopt is approved, our adoption coordinators will schedule a meet and greet with you and the senior dog you are applying to adopt.
3. Complete a home visit. If you (and your family) and the dog are a good match for each other, a home visit is then scheduled and completed.
4. Finalize the adoption. After a home visit is complete, the adoption can be finalized and a new happy tail can be told!
The adoption fee is $200
To adopt a dog from Tails of Gray, you must:
