Rufus is a charming, mellow fellow. He has a very solemn, serious face, but is actually just a year old! Rufus is a little nervous in the shelter, but we expect he will blossom in the right home. He is dog social and has made many doggy friends here, but can sometimes be a bit pushy- we would be happy to schedule a meet and greet to make sure he gets along with your pup!

Adoption fees range from $56-$86. This includes vaccines, flea/tick protection, health exam at local veterinary clinic, collar,leash, 50% discount on spay/neuter. Altering is done at the time of adoption, prior to the pet going home.
There is an application for adoption, a 24 hour hold and an adoption contract.

We are located in Williamsburg, VA. Our adoption center is open 6 days a week from 12 noon - 4:30 pm, and we are closed on Mondays for deep clean.
