Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Benji – 100% Lab, No Chill (In the Best Way) Benji is a 1-year-old male Lab who is basically a walking, wagging advertisement for Why People Love Labradors. He comes out of his kennel like he’s late for the best party of his life—yes, he may pull a bit on leash at first, but only because he is thrilled to be doing literally anything with you. He’s friendly with dogs through the fence, unfazed by the loud shelter environment, and super easy to handle. Benji knows sit and his absolute favorite trick—shake—which he will proudly offer whether you asked for it or not. (Expect repeat performances.) Treats? Oh yes. Big treats. Small treats. Mystery pocket crumbs. Benji loves them all and enjoys sniffing around to make sure none have been missed. He sports an eye-catching black-and-brown coat that makes him just a little extra handsome, and he walks nicely once the initial excitement wears off. Water is his happy place—Benji loves the pool—and his previous family reports he is housebroken, crate trained, has had obedience training, loves car rides, and was friendly with adults, kids, and other dogs. If you’ re looking for a joyful, treat-motivated, handshake-offering Lab who will happily be your adventure buddy (and your pool supervisor), Benji is ready to shake on it.
