Finn is one of four sweet, wide-eyed stray puppies recently found their way to the shelter, scared and unsure of their new surroundings. Though shy at first, it doesn’t take long for their gentle, friendly personalities to shine through once they feel safe. The loud, crowded shelter is overwhelming for them, and it's no place for puppies to grow up. These little ones deserve the warmth of a home, a soft bed, and a family to show them love and patience. They’re ready for their second chance—now all they need are forever homes to help them leave the shelter behind for good.

Visit us Tuesday through Saturday from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM! All of our pets are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped prior to adoption. Adoption fee: $45.00.

The Chickasha Animal Shelter is a municipal shelter operated and funded by the City of Chickasha, Oklahoma. In addition to providing a safe environment for our adoptable animals we also are responsible for the enforcement of all animal related laws within the City of Chickasha and holding all stray animals that are located. In addition to these main roles, we also provide public Spay and neuter program with OkHumane, city pet licensing, and other educational services to our community.
We operate daily with a very limited staff supported by several amazing volunteers. We operate an active foster program and are always seeking to work with those in our community interested in assisting us in our mission.
