This handsome fellow is a true Hemingway cat — a polydactyl gentleman with extra toes and extra charm to match.
Yes, Mr. Gibbs is waiting for his forever home, but he needs someone wonderfully special. Someone who won’t shy away from loving an FIV+ kitty with a heart murmur, and someone who understands that different doesn’t mean difficult.
He’s all orange cat attitude, all affection and one BIG love bug who adores attention, soft blankets and being told he’s handsome. (He knows… but he still likes hearing it.)

Visit us (by appointment only) at our physical location in Blairsville, GA 30512. Please e-mail us your contact info. and which pet you are interested in. We will happily arrange a meeting with that pet.
We also hold adoptions most Saturdays from 10-4 at the Alpharetta Petsmart. It is located across from the North Point Mall. Also Petco in Milton/Alpharetta. Please e-mail us for specific dates and locations. Not all pets at our shelter are at the adoption event. If you would like to see a certain pet at an event, e-mail us and let us know which one you are interested in.

The mission of Castoff Pet Rescue is to save and nurture homeless dogs; to match companion animals with loving, life-long homes; to foster responsible pet care; to control overpopulation in our community through spay/neuter programs; and to assist other shelters and rescue groups in any endeavor to benefit the animals. We believe that the same kindness, compassion, and generosity we extend to our two-legged neighbors should be given to our four-legged friends because they are not able to speak for themselves.
