My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

I was left behind when my owner was taken away in an ambulance.  It was awhile before anyone realized that she left behind 2 cats.  My housemate escaped as cleaners came in to go through the apartment, so she was the first one they realized was abandoned.  Kathy was the first one to by taken away by the rescue.  As the workers returned, they realized I was in there, too, and I needed to be rescued.  I was, of course, very scared, with my housemate gone, my owner gone for 45 days and workers coming and going as I continued to hide underneath furniture.  Since coming to rescue I love to sleep with a human and make biscuits.  I love a high cat tree, Meow Mix dry food and soups in a pouch like Fancy Feast Lobster and various chicken broths. I seem to tolerate another cat, but no dogs to keep stress at a minimum.  No small children, please, because I need a quiet environment where I can snuggle with my human and make quiet chatter when I want to eat.I am ready for a new beginning with a loving human. I was previously spayed and microchipped. Now my vaccines are current and I tested negative for felv/fiv. My adoption fee is $100.00.

More about this rescue

Cool Cats Rescue is often focused on helping animals that are often overlooked. This includes community & TNR cats/kittens, e-listed dogs from our county shelters, cleft palate, puppies, aggressive and other "less desirable" pets that may need extra TLC, time, patience, and understanding before finding their forever homes. We are committed to building a supportive community of fosters, trainers, veterinarians,, and resources for the animals that we believe are in the most need--we even partner with other local rescues, a veteran's assistance program, a homeless assistance program, and a working cat program (mousers) to form creative solutions for our rescued cats.
