This guy loves people. Whether he’s out in public charming strangers or hanging with volunteers, Axton radiates joy. He’s playful, food-motivated, and genuinely lights up when he’s around other dogs.

Axton has spent more than two years at the shelter, so home life will feel brand new, and that’s OK! With time, decompression, and a patient routine, he will settle in beautifully. What he needs most is someone who understands that big transitions deserve gentle pacing and lots of reassurance. His ideal family will enjoy having a giant cuddle buddy who learns quickly once comfortable.
