My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi, I’m Noah!

They say good things take time—and let’s just say, I’m living proof of that.

When I first arrived at the sanctuary, I was a tiny spitfire with a lot of opinions and not a lot of trust. Humans? No, thank you. But over time (and with plenty of treats), I started to realize… hey, maybe people aren’t so bad after all.

These days, I’m still a little shy when I meet someone new, but once I know you’re one of the good ones, I’ll be right there, following you around like your own personal shadow. Especially if you’ve got a treat in your hand—or you’re handing out those good scratches. You’ll know you’ve won me over when I lean in for love or gently bat a toy across the floor to show off for you.

I’ve been told my tail looks like a magnificent feather duster, which is fitting, because I am royalty after all (just look at this luxurious fur). I love to play with any toy I can find, and I’m always curious about what you’re up to. I get along wonderfully with other cats and would be thrilled to have a feline buddy or two in my forever home.

So, if you’re looking for a once-spicy, now-sweet, treat-loving fluffball with a heart of gold and a purr to match, come meet me. I’m here at the sanctuary every day between 1–5pm.

I might just be the light your family’s been missing.

With love and head boops,
Noah

I have excellent litter box habits. My new perfect family NEEDS to understand that it WILL take me a while to adjust at first and I WILL hide as I settle in. Give me time, patience, and use food as a tool to get me out of my shell — I really am a wonderful cat.

I am fully vetted: neutered, microchipped, FIV & FeLV negative, and up-to-date on all my vaccinations. I require an indoor-only home and, as with all cats — absolutely no declawing.
