Peanut is a 38-lb female hound mix who is smart, playful, and full of personality. She’s a curious girl who loves to sniff, learn, and work—once she trusts you, she forms a deep bond with her people.
She’s fully potty trained and crate trained, sleeps peacefully through the night, and settles nicely in the home after her exercise and mental work. Peanut has medium-to-high energy but thrives most with enrichment, sniffy walks, and adventures like hiking trails, beach days, and park walks.
Training her is a joy—she’s eager to please, highly intelligent, and picks up new commands quickly. Puzzle toys, training games, “find it,” tug, and fetch are some of her favorites. She rides great in the car, rarely barks, and has no destructive behaviors.
Peanut can be cautious at first with new people and dogs and would do best with an experienced owner who enjoys training and providing structure, enrichment, and leadership. Older kids (10+) would be best.
If you’re looking for a loyal, brainy adventure buddy who loves to learn and explore, Peanut could be your perfect match 🤍🐶
