My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi Everyone.

🐾Adopt Adorable Jan! 🐾
Meet Jan: A Calico Cutie Seeking a Forever Home!
Are you ready to add a splash of color and a whole lot of purrs to your life? Then meet Jan, a sweet and stunning tortoiseshell and white female kitten!
Born on 8/11/25, Jan is a vibrant little girl with a unique, patchwork coat—a beautiful mix of black, orange, cream, and snowy white. This lovely coloring is often called "tortie-and-white" or calico, and it perfectly matches her spunky personality.✨
Jan's Purr-sonality Jan is a delightful mix of playful kitten and cuddly companion.
Playful Explorer: She loves to chase feather wands, pounce on toy mice, and explore every nook and cranny of a room. She'll keep you entertained with her kitten antics!
Sweet Snuggler: When playtime is over, Jan transforms into a champion snuggler. She adores being held and will happily curl up on your lap or next to you for a long, cozy nap, filling your home with her contented purrs.
A Unique Spirit: True to her "tortie-tude," Jan is a confident and engaging little lady who knows what she likes and isn't afraid to show it—whether it's demanding ear scratches or zooming across the floor.
Jan will be spayed, vaccinated, dewormed, and microchipped before she goes home with you. She is ready to pack her bags and move into your loving home this month!!🐾
Could You Be Jan's Family? Jan is waiting for a family who can give her the love, attention, and playful environment all kittens thrive in. If you're looking for a beautiful, affectionate, and spirited companion to complete your home, Jan is the perfect match.

So if you feel like you can be that caring and loving purrent, please reach out to Dirty Little Paws Rescue at Dirtylittlepaws@gmail.com or fill out my adoption questionnaire. I can hardly wait to be part of your life.

Dirty Little Paws is a non-profit rescue in Southern California. We rescue from kill shelters and from the street, manage feral colonies, and promote TNR (trap, neuter, release). We need your help! Please adopt a pet from a Rescue. If you can't adopt, please foster. If you can't foster, please donate.

At Dirty Little Paws our mission is to save the lives of as many cats as possible. We respond to daily emergencies, fully vet each cat, release ferals back into their colonies, rehabilitate some, make sick cats well, hold adoption fairs, educate the public, and place a strong emphasis on sourcing donations through events & fundraisers so that this work may continue.
