Our handsome and sweet Buckley is living the life at the R'Eskie Ranch. Buckley came from a local shelter where he was dropped off because his family was moving and could not take him. Buckley is super friendly, fun, smart, housetrained and just an all around good boy! He loves to snuggle, play in the yard and go for walks. Buckley turned 3 years old in October and weighs 26 pounds. He has been neutered, microchipped, is up to date in vaccines, and had a dental cleaning in September. Buckley is wonderful with all the other eskies at the ranch and with visiting dogs (see videos). Buckley is a a gem. If you're interested in meeting Buckley, please contact Heidi@eskierescuers.org
Buckley's Embark DNA results are in: 53% American Eskimo Dog, 18% Chow Chow, 11% Chihauhau, 10% Supermutt, 8% American Pit Bull Terrier = 100% GOOD DOG!
Whenever possible Eskie Rescuers United tries to adopt out its dogs locally (or at least to adopters in adjoining states to where I'm being fostered). Please note that ERU processes LOCAL adoption applications before considering those from out of state.
If I'm not local to you, as explained above, and you really have your heart set on me, you will have to make special arrangements so ERU can get me to you safely (for example, flying me to you at your own expense, or paying a transport group to drive me to you). Note: We may ask that you to make a donation to cover transport costs if the distance is great and we have trouble finding transport drivers.
There is an adoption fee required; and, please be aware, Eskie Rescuers United will not adopt out its dogs as outdoor dogs.
