He may be a bit timid when you first meet him, but give him a little time and a quiet home where he can retreat to a safe hiding spot when he needs a break, and you’ll discover the gem he truly is.
When he first arrived, he was a little spicy, hissing when startled and unsure of his new surroundings. But as his confidence has grown, so has his personality. Now he’s one of the most affectionate cats we’ve ever fostered!
While he isn’t a fan of being picked up or held, he absolutely loves attention. Brush him, scratch him, pet him… he’ll soak it all up and ask for more. Once he trusts you, he wants nothing more than to shower his people with love.
He’s ready to find a calm, patient family who will let him blossom at his own pace and he can’t wait to smother his new humans with affection. 🐾💕

You can meet our pets by making an appointment or coming in during our walk-in hours (Monday-Saturday 12pm-5pm).

Sign Adoption Contract
Once you meet the pet and its a good match, there's some paperwork that you will need to sign (most is completed digitally).

Take the Pet Home
We try to make as many pets ready to go home the same day you meet them so they get immediate love and cuddles from their new family!

Our $35 flat rate adoption fees are an amazing value!
All adoptions will include the following:
* Spay/Neuter
* Vaccines
* Heartworm test (dogs)
* Feline Leukemia & FIV test (cats)
* Flea and tick preventative
* Heartworm preventative
* Microchip
* Pet Hub ID tag
You will need to bring the following to adopt:
•Picture ID with your current address. For example, a Driver's License or State ID.
•Proof of age (you must be 18 or older to adopt a pet from Animal Care)
•Proper form of payment (cash, credit/debit card, money order). Checks are accepted with a current Diver's License.
•A carrier for your adopted kitty or a leash and collar for your adopted dog. Don't have these items? Don't worry - we will have these and many more wonderful items for your new pet available for purchase in our Pet Retail Store.

Greenville County is situated in the Upstate of South Carolina, and is only a 30 minute drive from North Carolina's southern border; 1 hours drive to Georgia's border and about 2 hours from Columbia, SC.
