Norbert is a handsome brown tabby with expressive eyes and a heart that’s still learning how to trust. At just about a year old, he’s come a long way from his more fearful kitten days—and while he’s still shy, you can see the potential shining through.
If you catch him lounging, he’ll let you pet him—and once you're close, he stays. But if he spots you coming, he may dash off until he’s sure it’s safe. He’s not quite a lap cat (yet), but with a patient, kind person who lets him go at his own pace, Norbert could truly blossom.

We ask an adoption fee of $175 Which includes a general health exam, spay /neuter surgery, and microchip ID implant, Felv/FIV testing, age-appropriate vaccinations including rabies.

Meowsquad is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization started in 2019. Our goal is to reduce the large stray and feral cat population of New York City by using Trap Neuter Return (TNR) techniques as well as working with the community to find forever homes for cats and kittens that can be resocialized. We also aim to relocate those who cannot be returned into safe, working environments.
