He may need to be shown some extra compassion and patience to begin with, but once trust is established he looks forward greatly to your companionship. He loves head rubs and when you speak to him in a loving voice. He has shown a more reserved nature in shelter, but in the comfort of your warm home, is likely to blossom into his true self and display all of his charms and preferences once he has settled in.
