Age: 4 years Weight: 3kg
Meet Charlotte, a precious little gal whose living her best life in foster and is ready to find her forever! According to her foster mom and dad, she is very, very cute and anyone would be lucky to have her.
Charlotte went into foster care a few weeks ago and has come a long way. She`s extremely shy and nervous, and has only really been comfortable in one room of the house where her foster mom and dad have set her up. We know that with time and a lot of patience from the right people in her forever home, she`ll eventually start to explore in new spots as she becomes braver.
Her foster parents have been able to get cuddles in with Charlotte, but only when they go to her (she makes them work for it!). If she`s in a really loving mood, she’ll sometimes venture onto her foster dad’s lap for a brief minute! She`s even learning how to purr and it is the highlight of her foster parents` day when she does! She has a lot of love to give, and one day she’ll be an absolute snuggle muffin.
Charlotte came into our care with another cat and may do well with a respectful feline friend in the future. She can`t go to a home with kids as loud noises and quick movements make her nervous. If you have the patience to continue to help Charlotte transform into a confident, cuddly kitty, then she is ready to be the next great addition to your home!
Lots of love, Miss Charlotte

From our earliest beginning, Calgary Humane Society was more than a shelter. As Calgary’s first-established animal welfare organization, connecting the lives of animals and people while providing essential animal services to the community remains our central priority.
Today, Calgary Humane Society (CHS) shelters almost 5,000 homeless animals each year. In 1922 we set out to help as many animals as we can and we will continue to do so by fostering the values of respect, compassion, commitment, teamwork, integrity and innovation.
Our mission is to help as many animals as we can.
Our vision is using innovative strategies to lead, inspire, and educate in the humane treatment of companion animals, fostering an enlightened community that consistently demonstrates respect and compassion for all animals.
Our dream is a community where animals are valued, humanely treated, and live enriched lives.
Calgary Humane Society is committed to creating a better tomorrow through education and collaboration.
