I'm Francine, a 9-month-old female Shepherd mix weighing about 58 lbs, and I'm basically a teenage powerhouse of fun, brains, and beauty. I was recently surrendered when my family could no longer care for me, but don't worry—I'm not letting that dim my sparkle. I'm ready for my glow-up and my forever home! I'm still very much a puppy, which means I'm playful, energetic, and always up for learning something new. My previous family says I'm great with kids and crate trained, so I already have some solid life skills under my belt. I've been waiting 94 days as of 01/17/26 and have officially earned Diamond Dog – Long Standing Resident status, which means my adoption fee is just $75. I come spayed, microchipped, up to date on my basic yearly vaccines, and heartworm negative—basically, I'm healthy, ready, and totally prepared to move in. IMPORTANT NOTICE: All shelter animals are required by Texas state law to be spayed/neutered. RAC completes this procedure at the age of 12 weeks. If you are adopting a pet under the age of 12 weeks or an animal that has not yet been spayed or neutered, you will be required to return the pet to our facility on the agreed upon date set at the time of adoption. This policy is non-negotiable and violation of this health code is a criminal offense.
