April is a stunning 2–3-year-old Lab/Hound mix weighing about 64 lbs — the perfect blend of sweetness, playfulness, and charm! This lovely girl has a calm, affectionate nature and is ready to find a family who will give her the love and attention she deserves.
April is super sweet and easygoing. She sleeps soundly through the night, is both kennel and potty trained, and has wonderful house manners. She loves her toys (the more, the better!) and would be happiest in a home where she gets plenty of playtime and affection from her people.
While April isn’t dog-aggressive, she prefers to have her toys and food all to herself, so she’ll do best as the only dog in the home. This way, she can relax and enjoy her people without having to share her favorite things.
She’s done well with kids at the shelter, and though she hasn’t been around children in her foster home yet, her gentle temperament suggests she’d do fine with respectful, dog-savvy kids.

The adoption fee of $300 will include spay/neuter, microchip, age appropriate/required vaccinations, treatment for heartworm and any other necessary medical treatment to assure a healthy new pup for your family. IMPORTANT DISCLAIMER: Although we do our best to describe breed, since our pups all come from shelters we can not and will not make any guarantee on breed or size. We can tell you that they are 100% RESCUED! And that is the BEST breed!
