My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Fern | 2 years | 41 lbs | Standard Aussie
Meet Fern — the softest little introvert with a heart that’s just starting to bloom. 🌿 She came to us as a breeder surrender and is still learning what real life looks like — walks on leash, new sounds, comfy beds, love that doesn’t come with strings attached.
She’s curious and so gentle, but loud noises and sudden movements can make her nervous. She’s learning that the world isn’t as scary as it seems, one brave step (and one crunchy leaf) at a time. She’s not fully potty trained yet — outside noises can be overwhelming — but she’s trying, and that’s what matters.
Fern absolutely loves being outside, soaking up the sunshine and sniffing all the things. She just needs a calm, patient human who’ll help her keep finding her confidence and remind her that slow progress is still progress. 💛
She’s the kind of dog who will quietly steal your heart — no rush, no drama, just love.

Go meet their pets

After being approved by a team member, you'll be able to schedule a meet and greet with the pup that best matches your needs.

All of our pets are in private foster homes and many times the meeting will happen in a safe public location.

All animals are available to begin their home trials once the meeting has concluded and the rescue agrees to allow the pet to move forward to this stage.
