Xena is semi-active. She is alert and aware of her surroundings, but not overly concerned with anything, except food and treats! She will come running when she hears a bag shake- haha. She likes to sit on a bed or couch and look out windows. She doesn’t really seem interested in playing with toys or anything. She enjoys being pet, scratched and shown affection, but does not always actively seek it out. If she is up higher than you and you bend over to look in a drawer or something she might jump on your back-just to hang out. You can pick her up. She’s very easy going. She would be fine with or without other felines. She has a daughter, Callisto, who would be happy to be adopted with her, but it’s not a necessity. She also has an older daughter, Sabrina, and they like each other as well.

More about this rescue
We have created a non-profit animal shelter dedicated to eliminating cruelty, abuse and the overpopulation of animals. The Humane Society is committed to creating the awareness of animal rights throughout the Romeoville community by providing numerous animal welfare programs, including pet adoptions, humane education and cruelty investigations. ALL animals available for adoption are spayed or neutered, vaccinated, fecal tested, fiv/felv tested (cats only), heartworm tested (dogs only) and microchipped. It is the policy of the Romeoville Humane Society to spay or neuter all animals in its care in an effort to reduce the homeless pet population.
