Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Alley Cat • Working Mouser • Part-Time Ghost
Bo is an adult female mouser who perfectly embodies what CAA calls an “alley cat”—mostly work, a little play, and just enough tolerance for humans to keep things interesting. She’s a beautiful grey tabby with quiet confidence and a strong sense of personal space.
Bo isn’t feral, but she’s not a pet either. She’ll allow herself to be seen going about her business, especially when she thinks no one is watching. Make direct eye contact, though, and poof—Bo disappears, scurrying off to a safe hiding spot like the professional introvert she is.
Bo’s Personality & Preferences:
Cooperative with routines (feeding schedules are her love language)
Will hiss if she feels cornered or pressured
Not touchable, not pick-up-able, not interested in negotiating that
Comfortable living alongside humans—as long as expectations are realistic
Why Bo Is a Great Fit:
Thrives in barns, workshops, warehouses, or outdoor working environments
Stunning grey tabby who adds visual charm from a respectful distance
Secretly vocal—Bo will meow when she thinks you’re not around, revealing her softer side
Bo is the kind of cat who wants to coexist, not socialize. She’s happiest when given space, consistency, and a job to do. In return, she offers quiet companionship, routine cooperation, and the occasional off-hours commentary when the coast is clear.
If you’re looking for a working cat who understands boundaries, respects routines, and prefers parallel living over hands-on affection, Bo may be exactly your kind of coworker.
