Personality:
Meet Dodger, the laid-back superstar who loves people more than belly rubs (and that’s saying something)! Not officially kid-tested, but with a heart of gold, this gentle giant has never met a stranger he didn’t want to charm. He’s the ultimate Velcro dog—always by your side, just trying to figure out how to sneak into your lap!

Background:
Dodger’s past was a bit ruff—rescued from a home where he was chained outside on concrete. But don’t worry, he’s all better now and living the good life! Spoiled to the max, this pup has traded in his tough past for plush dog beds, tasty treats, and a lifetime supply of belly rubs!

Favorites:
Dodger is a toy connoisseur! His top picks? The jolly ball and tennis ball. He’s basically a furry athlete when it comes to playtime—just don’t expect him to break a sweat! He prefers a leisurely game of fetch, where he can give you his best “I’m too cute to chase” look.

Other Dogs:
Not reactive to other dogs, Dodger believes in the power of peace and quiet. No barking battles here—he’s more of a “let’s be pals” kind of guy.

Their adoption process

1.
Submit Application

• Current pets must be spayed/neutered, UTD on annual exams, heartworm tests, vaccines & consistent heartworm prevention.

2.
Interview

We will have a volunteer call personal and vet references. We will interview applicant if all information provided is accurate.

3.
Home Check

We do in home visit checks or via video chat. Video Chat If adopter lives out of our area, if a volunteer Is unavailable.

Or we help arrange private (or volunteer) transport for your pet if adopter isn’t in our local area.

Additional adoption info

We are all volunteers, but we try to have all applications processed in 7 business days.. If you are approved, then we will send you an adoption contract and transport information. Payment must be made once contract is finalized.
We try to answer all inquiries. If you are interested in a pet the best way to meet that pet is FILL OUT AN APPLICATION. Since we are all volunteers, applicants must be approved before a meet/greet.

Team Memphis Rescue & Support provides assistance to Team Memphis Rescue & Support approved rescues by transporting pets from shelters, boarding facilities, Veterinary clinics and foster homes. We help evaluate temperaments of pets and network to find foster homes. Animal Rescue is an ongoing battle. We are stronger when we stand together.
