Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Say hello to Beanie – a smart, curious, and energetic 3-month-old German Shorthair Pointer mix with a heart as big as her paws! True to her breed, Beanie is always on a mission to explore the world around her. Whether she’s sniffing out new adventures in the backyard or fearlessly investigating every corner of the house, this little pup is full of curiosity and confidence.
Beanie is also as sweet as they come — she loves people, enjoys snuggles after a big play session, and is eager to learn. Her smart, inquisitive nature makes her a great candidate for training, and her boundless energy means she’ll thrive in an active home where she can run, play, and keep discovering new things every day.
Beanie is a little over 11 lbs at 12 weeks She is comfortable in her crate, has slept through the night and kept her kennel dry since she has been here. She is doing well with potty training when kept on a schedule and is in the process of learning basic commands.
Ideal home: A family or individual who can match her energy, nurture her curiosity, and help her grow into the brave and loyal companion she’s destined to be.
Our standard adoption fee is $375 if paid by cash or check, or $385 if paid by credit card (which includes a $10 processing fee). This fee covers spay/neuter surgery when age appropriate at one of our participating veterinarians, age-appropriate core vaccinations, fecal testing, deworming, flea and tick preventative, and microchipping.
In order to be considered for adoption, we require a fully completed application, a phone interview, and a meet-and-greet with your entire family. Please note that submitting an application does not commit you to adopting and does not guarantee approval—it simply allows us to begin the review process.
If you are interested in adopting or would like additional information, please email us at adopt@safehavendogsIL.org to request an application.
Keep in mind that the breed and size listed in each dog's biography are our best educated guesses and are not guaranteed.
Safe Haven Dog Rescue reserves the right to refuse the adoption of any dog or puppy to any applicant for any reason.
