My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Cleo! Cleo is a lovely 6-year-old, 80-pound black and white dog with a big heart and an even bigger personality. Friendly, tolerant, and affectionate, she loves attention and enjoys being part of the action.

Cleo knows several commands, including sit, shake, and down and is even learning spin! She’s easy to handle, enjoys being petted, and allows gentle care like eye cleaning and topical treatments. Cleo has some ongoing skin allergies that will need regular maintenance throughout her life, but she’s cooperative with care and loves the extra attention that comes with it.

Here`s a snippet of what her recent Foster had to say during her stay with them: `Cleo was an absolute delight during her two-week stay as a foster, proving to be an incredibly sweet houseguest who was clearly loved and well-cared for by a previous owner. Her manners are impeccable: she is housebroken with no accidents and is reliably crate-trained (and happily slept in a crate at night). She showed no aggression around food or toys and only possessive of her side of a rope! On walks, she`s a sweet companion on the leash, though she likes to investigate every smell. She prefers shorter, meandering strolls—gradually working up to only a couple of blocks—making her not ideal for a super active family but perfectly suited for a calm, loving home. Cleo loves playtime, especially a good game of tug-of-war (which she will happily win), and is wonderful with children, totally melting for attention and belly rubs. She is happiest curled up for a snuggle or enjoying a cozy nap by a heater, ready to be a low-key and sweet family member.`
