My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hello, my name is Dante, I`m looking for my retirement home. In my 12 years of life I have quite the story. I am an escape artist and I can`t help it, I love to explore! One of my adventures in my earlier years landed me with a broken leg. I absolutely must have a home with a fenced yard. I also need someone who will diligently keep my leash on. It is best if I go home to either a single person or to a couple and no young children because I`m afraid that`s an easy way for me to slip out the door and take to wandering again.
I can be shy at first, because of my special personality, you will have to make multiple visits to the shelter to make sure I am comfortable before I can go home. If you have the patience and the calm environment I`m looking for in a home please come in to meet me!
