Hi there! I’m Janet, a soft black female kitten with a heart full of love and a whole lot of energy. My siblings—Jack and Krissy—and I arrived at Animal Ark with our mom, Helen, after being found abandoned in a neighborhood. Despite our rough start, we’re ready to bring joy and cuddles to our forever families. I’m looking for a home that understands my kitten needs: no children under five, please, and I must be adopted with a kitten buddy or join a household with a friendly resident cat. It would be absolutely purr-fect if I could go home with Jack or Krissy—double the fun, double the purrs, and double the adorable mischief! I have mild CH (cerebellar hypoplasia)--wobbly kitten syndrome. My ideal home would be willing to make a few special accommodations to keep me safe and help me out with accessibility. This means things like easy litter box access (litter boxes spread throughout the home and on each floor; low-entry litter boxes are the best option), raised food bowls, blocked-off open banisters and stair railings for my safety, and carpeting on all stairs (hardwood stairs can be dangerous for wobbly cats). We’re not sure how we feel about dogs or other cats just yet, so a slow and gentle introduction will help us settle in safely. If your family is searching for boundless energy, playful antics, and unconditional love, come meet us at the shelter. We can’t wait to charm you!
