Athena is a 3 year old purebred German Wirehaired Pointer. She is a very active dog and she loves to play fetch. She would do very well in a household with a nice size yard as she likes to run around. She also loves to swim.
She would do well with an owner who has time to go out and play with her daily. She is always ready to play fetch and you can always find her with a ball in her mouth.
When introduced to a new dog, she is initially skeptical, but after she gets used to them, she is fine with other dogs. However, she is scared of small dogs. She have never been around a cat so unsure how she would do with a cat.
Lives with no kids currently. She tends to avoid children. She has never had a problem with kids, she just tends to avoid them. That said, she would be better for either a family with no kids or a family with older kids.
Overall, she loves to play but she will also snuggle with you. She would be a good dog for someone looking for a companion.
