HI - I'M ROOTIE, and my story is a sad one. I was originally rescued from a shelter many years ago, and just this summer, I was found at a homeless encampment in Southern California. So now I'm safe, but I'm still a bit shy/timid in my new surroundings. I really need a home with a soft bed and a person or people to love me. I may take just a little bit to come out of my shell, but I deserve a wonderful home for once in my life. I'm 8 years old now, but in good health. Can you please foster or adopt me? I'm currently in Southern California, but can be transported to you in Northern Cal at no extra charge.
