Meet Mary Rose 💕

A quiet beauty with a gentle soul, Mary Rose is ready to start a new chapter.

After her beloved caretaker passed away, a kind neighbor took her in to make sure she’d stay safe, healthy, and loved. Over the last few months, Mary Rose has begun to blossom into a sweet, affectionate companion who enjoys peaceful moments and quiet company.

She’s friendly once she feels comfortable — happy to be picked up and to curl up nearby — but still has a shy side that makes her all the more endearing. Her soft black-and-white coat, dainty white paws, and expressive eyes make her as beautiful as she is kindhearted.

Mary Rose gets along well with other gentle cats and even does fine with a small dog. She’s healthy, and even had a recent dental (including a tooth extraction) before she arrived in our care.

Mary Rose spends her days lounging in the sun and enjoys the comfort of coming inside at night. She’d love a quiet home where she can continue to feel safe, loved, and cherished — just as her first person would have wanted for her.

Our staff will have a conversation with you about cat care and discuss any important information related to your chosen cat.

Our adoption fees are low and don't cover the costs of spay/neuter, vaccinations and microchips for each cat. Please consider donating!

Homeward Bound Cat Adoptions is a nonprofit organization dedicated to cats and people in our community. We provide counseling, information, and resources to empower people to support their cats and others in the community. If cats cannot stay with their families or neighborhoods, we prioritize our intake on cats most at risk - cats in need of rehoming; kittens who need specialized care; and cats who have been abandoned, are sick or injured, or are not thriving in the community. We are committed to ensuring the highest level of attention and care for cats in our adoption program and provide a modern, free-roaming adoption center to minimize stress, serve the individual needs of each cat, and set up both cats and adopters for success.
