Meet Bea, the leader of the pack — and a total sweetheart. *Please note: Bea is in a foster home and is available by appointment only. Please call (401) 467-3670 or email HeartofRIadoption@gmail.com to schedule a time to meet her.* Bea had a very rough start in life but her resilience and spirit still shine. She was found with her siblings, starving and searching through garbage just to survive. We can't imagine the extent of what she has been through but we promised her that life will only get better. Bea is a 6 month old, female, Hound mixed breed. She is happy, healthy, and full of fun puppy energy. This puppy can’t wait to meet the people who will finally give her the love she deserves.

More about this rescue
We are a volunteer, 501(c)(3) non-profit, no-kill shelter.
Visit our website at HeartofRI.org for an in depth view of our policies, procedures, fees, and exactly what they include.
Unfortunately, due to past issues with landlords/housing/insurance, a restricted breed policy is in place for Bully breed/Pit Bull type dogs. This means that you must own your home and provide proof of homeownership to adopt a Bully breed/Pit Bull dog or puppy. While we understand that this may be an inconvenience, it is necessary to help reduce the number of devastated dogs being returned. We apologize for the inconvenience.
