Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hi! My name is Rosie, and I’m a three-year-old, 49-pound Goldendoodle. I’ve heard my foster parents say that I’m a real catch, but I’m looking for a specific kind of home—one where I can truly thrive! My bags are packed and I’m ready to find my perfect home.
About me:
*Brainy and energetic: I’m a super smart girl who loves to learn and is very motivated by treats! I can run fast and have high energy, so I need lots of physical exercise and mental games to stay happy. I’m all about playing fetch, chasing a flirt pole, and solving puzzle games.
*A friend to all: I love people and have a soft spot for kids! I used to live with two (ages 7 and 9) and enjoyed getting pets from all the children I’ve met since. I also get along famously with other dogs after a proper, slow introduction. I currently have a couple of fur-siblings in my foster home!
*Well-mannered and home-ready: I’m fully kennel-trained and will politely let you know when I need to go outside with a little whine or bark. I’ve also been trusted to hang out for shorter times outside my kennel. I do not have any issues with resource guarding and am respectful when other dogs are eating.
*Always on the move: While I’m learning to be a better leash walker, I’m a pro at keeping up on my adventures. I’m also really good at navigating stairs, using my “Rosie up” and “Rosie down” commands so we don’t trip.
*Ready for cuddles: I’m not all play—I’m a champion cuddler, too! After a long day of fun, I love to snuggle up with my favorite people.
*I speak dog: My foster parents say I can be a little vocal when I’m super happy (especially during “biscuit time”!) and sometimes when I’m a little anxious in new places. It’s just my way of communicating!
*A few quirks: I’m a little messy with my water, and while I have little to no shedding, I do need to be brushed regularly and groomed every six weeks to keep my coat looking fresh! I’m good with short car rides, but longer ones (over an hour) can make me a little anxious, so I travel best in a carrier.
My dream home:
*Must-haves: A home with a securely fenced yard (4 feet or taller, no invisible fences) is a must for my zoomies. I’m looking for a house, not an apartment or shared wall living.
*Built-in bestie: While I adore people, I really want to have another playful and energetic dog in the house to wrestle and run with. If you already have a high-energy dog, I’m all ears!
*Playful humans: My perfect human (or humans!) will be committed to giving me significant daily physical exercise and mental engagement—much more than just a daily walk.
*Kid-friendly: I’m great with kids but can get a little excited and run fast, so I’m probably best for a home without very small children that I could accidentally knock over.
Do you have a fun-loving, active home with another furry friend for me to play with? If so, we might just be a perfect match! Submit your application today!
