Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Sleepy Hollow! Though his name may sound spooky, Sleepy Hollow is as sweet as can be. This 2-year-old boy is neutered, medically up-to-date, and ready to be your new best friend!
Sleepy Hollow was a bit shy when he first arrived at the shelter, but he quickly warmed up and became a pro cuddler. He adores belly rubs, kisses, and being held. When he’s not gracing visitors with head boops and purrs, Sleepy Hollow can often be seen (fittingly) snoozing in a sunbeam.
Sleepy Hollow is FIV+. His immune system is more vulnerable to infections, meaning he’ll need to be indoor-only. Though FIV may sound scary, don’t let the name spook you. Cats with FIV live long, healthy lives with proper care. The risk of transmission is also very low (typically only occurring through deep bite wounds), meaning Sleepy Hollow can live with other cats– a real treat since he loves his feline friends!
If you want a good-natured ghost to haunt your heart and home, Sleepy Hollow may be the perfect fit for you! Come meet him today!
Meet and greet/adoption appointments are highly recommended to ensure the animal you are interested in is currently at the shelter. Please call or e-mail the shelter to set up an appointment to meet and adopt!
DON'T FORGET! Cats often do better with a friend! All our cats and kittens have an "Adopt one and the 2nd at half the adoption fee!" bonus!!!
Our kitten/cat adoption fees vary on age, special needs, lonely heart status (cats that have been with us 6+ months), and for our senior to seniors program. Our adoption fees include the following: all of our cats/kittens are current on vaccinations (FVRCP series and Rabies if over 3 months of age) at the point of adoption, dewormed, tested for Feline Leukemia (FeLV) and Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV), treated for fleas/ticks/earmites in addition to being spayed or neutered once the cat reaches 2 lbs in weight. All cats and kittens adopted from the shelter are microchipped. Adoption fees may vary in special circumstances.
Because we are on a busy street, we require that all cats leaving the shelter be in a carrier. All pets are up for adoption until an approved application is processed and their adoption fee is paid.
