My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

Hi, I'm Oliver! I was found in a hoarding situation amongst 40 of my siblings! I was unfortunately a cat that was put into a box and dumped in a cemetery in the middle of the night, but the rescue lady that found me realized I had a whole family that was waiting to be saved, too!

I can be shy at first, but once I get to know you - watch out! I am very affectionate and enjoy sleeping in a bed with my human. I am other cat friendly, as well as dog and kiddo friendly. I use my litterbox religiously and I love to groom myself. I am always down for a good cuddle and a treat!

I am fully up to date on vaccines, microchipped and neutered. I do not have FIV/FELV. Please apply for me at www.castawaycritters.org. I have been at the rescue for 8 months!

Additional adoption info

We offer an online adoption application at www.castwaycritters.org. We do check references, vet references, and housechecks. Once you are approved, you will be required to fill out an adoption agreement. Our animals have all been wormed, altered and vaccinated. Cats have been tested for FIV/FeLV. For more information, see our website at www.castawaycritters.org.

Adoption application

Go meet their pets

All of our animals are in foster care so please complete an application at our website (www.castawaycritters.org) before meeting them. Completing an application does not obligate you to adopt; however, it is required. Applications are processed in the order received in an effort to find the best match possible for both the dog and the adopter.

Please also check out our events page on our website as fosters sometimes bring their available animals out to meet people!

More about this rescue

We are a non-profit rescue group that takes in stray, abandoned, and sick animals, giving them medical and foster care until available for adoption. We offer low cost spay/neuter clinics to the public and a special program called Operation CatNIP for pet cats of low income qualified individuals and feral cats, and assist in TNR for cats.
