I do have a bit of an awkward side when it comes to asking for attention. Sometimes I’m not quite sure how to say “don’t stop petting me, please!” and might use my mouth to show I’m not ready for the love to end. I’m still figuring out how to express myself, but I promise it all comes from wanting to be close.
I’m fully litter box trained and ready to settle into a calm home where I can be my chill, slightly goofy self. If you’re looking for a mellow buddy who’ll bring a peaceful vibe (and a few laughs) to your days, I might just be your guy.

Before you are eligible to adopt any animal from Border Paws Animal Shelter, you must complete our Adoption Application, and must be approved as an adopter.
To complete an adoption you must:
be a pre-approved adopter
be at least 18 years of age
visit the shelter to meet the animals
provide at least one piece of photo identification with current address
Applications are reviewed within 48 hours. If approved, our Kennel Coordinator will contact you to set up a time to introduce you to any animals that may best suit what you are looking for, or the animal you've requested a visit with.
All dogs, cats, puppies and kittens available for adoption have
been spayed or neutered
received at least one set of vaccines
received a microchip for identification
