My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

Hi I am Marilyn! When the rescue found me I was very sick & living in a backyard full of danger. I was rescued with my 10 siblings. My foster Mama named me Marilyn because of the mole I have on my face. She is a fan of Marilyn Monroe!

I am a sweet & loving gal, and I love to play. I am very, very calm for a kitten. My foster Mom is blown away by how I just melt into her hands when she holds me. I can do fine as an only cat or a cat with other animals in the home. I am very easy to get along with!

I am dog, cat and kid friendly. I am up to date on vaccines, negative for FIV/FELV and have been spayed and chipped. Could I be your furever family? Please apply for me at www.castawaycritters.org/adopt.

Additional adoption info

We offer an online adoption application at www.castwaycritters.org. We do check references, vet references, and housechecks. Once you are approved, you will be required to fill out an adoption agreement. Our animals have all been wormed, altered and vaccinated. Cats have been tested for FIV/FeLV. For more information, see our website at www.castawaycritters.org.

Adoption application

Go meet their pets

All of our animals are in foster care so please complete an application at our website (www.castawaycritters.org) before meeting them. Completing an application does not obligate you to adopt; however, it is required. Applications are processed in the order received in an effort to find the best match possible for both the dog and the adopter.

Please also check out our events page on our website as fosters sometimes bring their available animals out to meet people!

More about this rescue

We are a non-profit rescue group that takes in stray, abandoned, and sick animals, giving them medical and foster care until available for adoption. We offer low cost spay/neuter clinics to the public and a special program called Operation CatNIP for pet cats of low income qualified individuals and feral cats, and assist in TNR for cats.
