Introducing Polka: a purr-former in a sleek black coat, ready to chirp, chase, and charm his way into your heart.
At just 7 months old, Polka is a pint-sized panther with a personality that’s larger than life. He’s all about the good vibes — none of that “black cats are bad luck” nonsense here. This little shadow is all sweetness and snuggles, with a serious soft spot for cuddle time. But don’t be fooled by his mellow moments — when the wand toy appears, Polka becomes a stealthy hunter, diving through cat tunnels with the enthusiasm of a feline Olympian. Unlike your typical catch-and-chew kitty, Polka lives for the thrill of the chase. Why nibble when you can pounce again and again?
Polka is also a talker, offering up a delightful chirp that makes every conversation cuter. Whether he’s asking for playtime or telling you about his latest tunnel triumph, Polka has a lot to say — and you’ll want to listen.
Polka is FeLV+, so he’ll need to be your one and only, or join a household of fellow FeLV+ friends. He gets along wonderfully with other felines and would love a home with other kitties to play with.

For an adoption fee of $150, you will take home a cat that has received the very best medical care and evaluation. Every cat that leaves Tabby’s Place has been thoroughly examined by a veterinarian, spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, tested for FeLV and FIV, and treated for parasites.
We are currently offering two methods of adoption meetings:
1. Adopters can meet cats in person between 2-5PM daily. Appointments are strongly recommended, but we will make every effort to accommodate walk-ins where possible. Most cats and some select kittens are available for in-person meetings.
2. Adopters can meet cats and kittens via video meeting between 10:00AM-5:00PM daily by appointment only and subject to availability. Kittens in foster homes are only available for video adoption meetings.
Get started now by completing our online application. One or our adoption counselors will then contact you within 48 hours.
