My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Say hello to Gorgeous Doris!

Doris is a playful and affectionate terrier mix with a personality as unforgettable as her looks! This sweet girl has a unique black-and-white coat like a panda, a cow, and even a little like a yin and yang symbol and just like the symbol, Doris brings the perfect balance of fun and love into the right home.

Doris is full of joyful energy and absolutely lives for playtime, especially when other dogs are involved. She gets so excited to make new dog friends and could thrive in a home with another playful pup.

With her charming personality, adorable markings, and social spirit, Doris is truly one of a kind. She’s ready to find a loving home where she can be her sweet, silly self! If you think that's with you, please apply today!

Additional adoption info

Matchmaking is what we love to do. We do our very best to find the best fit for the pets awaiting adoption at the Rhode Island SPCA. The first step to adopting a dog from the Rhode Island SPCA is filling out an adoption application. If your application is selected, you will be contacted and asked if you would like to schedule a meet & greet. Because of the volume of applications we receive, sometimes we can only respond to the selected applicant. You are always welcome to contact us anytime about the status of your application at adoption@rispca.com.
