Peanut was returned to us because he takes protecting the home very seriously and will not allow strangers to enter the home. Peanut is a medium drive, high energy Malinois pup. He is extremely social and friendly with all dogs, but wouldn't recommend a home with cats due to his prey drive. He would be wonderful in an active pet or beginner sport home. He could also do some light service work. He is great in the house but needs to be crated when left alone. He loves to be with his people. Great on walks very curious about things but such a sweet boy! Included in this fee is also life- long training support provided by PLAY! K9 Academy located in Bradenton, FL as well as Life time microchip registration. When you adopt from a local shelter, you may not receive any medical history for this dog nor will you receive any behavioral history. We hope you understand that the minimal adoption fee we are asking is to continue our mission to rescue unwanted herding and working breeds from shelters/owners and get them adopted to their forever home. PLAY! K9 Rescue will pay for the spay/neuter of this adopted dog. The spay/neuter must be done at a clinic or veterinarian's office approved by PLAY! K9 Rescue. If the adopter chooses to take the pet to their own veterinarian for the spay/neuter procedure, PLAY! K9 Rescue will refund the cost equivalent to an approved PLAY! K9 Rescue veterinarian or clinic. All of our unaltered pets have a fully refundable deposit of $150.00 included within the adoption fee.
