My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet our beautiful Rainbow Family! These precious kittens and their devoted calico momma were rescued together by Small Lives Matter Kitten Rescue after being found at the St. Johns County Shelter when the babies were just a few days old. They’ve grown up in loving foster care, surrounded by gentle hands and lots of playtime, and are now ready to find forever homes.

Colby
A shorthaired boy kitten! This orange-and-white boy is full of sunshine and silliness! Colby is the class clown of the bunch — always up for a game, tumbling with his siblings, and finding the most creative ways to make you laugh. He’s also adorably protective of his favorite toys and takes his playtime very seriously!

Colt
A shorthaired boy kitten! He is our bold black-and-white tuxedo is strong, fast, and endlessly curious. He’s a confident explorer who loves a good adventure, but he’ll always come running back for cuddles.

Cotton
A shorthaired boy kitten is the gentle soul of the trio, Cotton is a gray-and-white sweetheart with kind eyes and the softest fur. He’s affectionate, calm, and will melt in your arms once he knows you’re his person.

Momma Callie
The heart of the family, Callie is a stunning calico with a sweet and nurturing spirit. After caring so lovingly for her babies, she’s ready for a home of her own where she can finally be pampered and adored.

This little family is wonderfully social, playful, and used to lots of human affection. Whether you fall for one or two kittens — or maybe even sweet Momma Callie — you’ll be bringing home love, laughter, and color in every shade of the rainbow.

We have dozens of cats and kittens available! All our adoptable cats are located at the Frisky Cat Cafe in St Augustine. 1092 Ponce De Leon Blvd (US 1). Visiting the cafe is a great way to find your perfect kitty. All of our cats and kittens are socialized and happy to interact with visitors, so you will meet them with their true personalities.

Go meet their pets

We are a foster based rescue. Our kitties are raised in loving foster homes, so they are socialized, love people and have good potty habits. Some are already adjusted to busy households with dogs, other adult cats and children. Please send us an inquiry and we will schedule a meet and greet.

More about this rescue

Small Lives Matter Kitten Rescue

We are a foster based rescue providing home care havens for kittens in need.

We are a 501(c)3 charitable organization supported by a network of volunteer fosters. We provide urgent care to neonate and sick kittens in need of life saving support.
We provide a haven to kittens until they are thriving and ready for spay and neuter surgery and then adoption.

Kittens under eight weeks old are one of the most at-risk populations in the United States, being killed or allowed to die by the hundreds of thousands every year. Our vision is that all neonatal, sick and other at-risk kittens are given a chance to grow and thrive through life-saving fosters and then adoption. Join us in the fight to stop euthanasia of orphaned kittens and share our dream that one day animals will no longer be killed in America's shelters. We believe every life is important, no matter how small.

We need everyone's help with our mission. There are many ways you can help. Please donate, volunteer to foster or adopt today!!
