My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Nix — Goddess of the Night

True to her name, Nix is a mysterious beauty with a heart full of light. This striking black kitten has soft white markings on her chest and a unique silver “fever coat” down her back — a shimmering reminder of how special she truly is.

When Nix and her sister Nova were found behind the Whitty Whisker Cat Café in St. Augustine, Nix was in rough shape. Malnourished and recovering from an attack, she fought hard to survive — and she did. Her foster mom promised her a beautiful life if she just kept breathing, and Nix kept that promise with all her tiny might.

Today, Nix is healthy, affectionate, and endlessly charming. Once she trusts you, she’s full of personality — circling happily for pets and breaking into an adorable little tap dance with her back feet when you rub her rump. Her purrs are constant, her love genuine, and her resilience inspiring.

She’s great with people and other cats, and while she hasn’t met dogs yet, her foster family believes she’d adjust just fine. Nix may need a moment to warm up, but once she does, she’ll reward you with a galaxy’s worth of affection.

Bring home Nix — a survivor, a sweetheart, and a little goddess ready to fill your nights with love.

We provide all initial wellness care, including vaccines, deworming, checking for mites etc., for each kitten and cat under our care. All cats and kittens available for adoption have been spayed or neutered, microchipped, combo tested and given a rabies vaccine. Our adoption fees also cover lifetime microchip registration.
