Jasmine’s story is one of survival and second chances. This brave girl spent over a month on the run as a pregnant stray, fending for herself and searching for a safe place to bring her babies into the world. When she was finally found, she led rescuers to an abandoned camp trailer — and inside were eight beautiful, healthy puppies.
Her little family was rescued that day. They all went to a temp foster home with Loni Groves until another rescue took in her pups, and Jasmine remained with Loni where she could rest, recover, and learn to trust again. She has since been fully vaccinated, microchipped, and spayed, and now she’s ready to find a foster or forever home of her own.
Jasmine is looking for a calm, patient home — ideally a quiet household with a fenced yard and a kind family who can offer her understanding and stability. She enjoys going for walks and does well on a leash, but she still needs slow introductions to new people and other dogs. Jasmine seems to prefer women but can bond well with men who approach her calmly and confidently.
She’s not a “project dog” — she’s a soul who’s been through a lot and just needs someone who will meet her with patience, reassurance, and love. Someone who understands the loyal heart of a pittie and can give her the safety she’s always deserved.

Since our formation in early 2013, we have helped save thousands of cats and dogs throughout Idaho from neglect, abuse, and death. Many of our rescues come from the Burley Idaho Animal Shelter where PAWS has transformed what was once a high kill facility to a shelter where every adoptable animal gets a second chance! PAWS also takes in stray pets from all over Idaho including Twin Falls, Boise, Nampa, and Caldwell. We work our very hardest to respond to every call for help!
PAWS Rescue, Inc. saves all breeds of cats and dogs of all ages as well as animals who have been hit by cars, shot, abandoned, abused, and neglected.
Rescued animals are placed in loving foster homes or transferred to other no kill partner facilities giving them a chance to find the perfect forever home. Our efforts give these deserving animals a second chance at a happy life.
Every animal receives veterinary evaluation and care, including spay/neuter and vaccines, as well as treatment for any other medical issue they may have. No animal is ever euthanized due to expense.
