My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

To adopt please fill out an adoption application.

Maisie a 4 mo female Husky mix who was abandoned with her buddy on the streets of Memphis.  This pup lives in the house with her foster family where she's lovingly cared for while awaiting her forever home. Happy, playful, outgoing puppy!  Friendly and well-socialized. Loves kids! Great with other dogs. Not yet cat tested.  Crate trained and about 50% housebroken. Still pulls a little on the leash but we’re working on it. Rides great in the car. DOB estimated 7-1-25. Weighs about 25 pounds and expected to be a medium sized dog when fully grown. Healthy, altered and utd on shots. This is a happy puppy who will make a great companion for an active family with kids who love the breed.

Go meet their pets

All our Good Dogs are in southern foster homes.

More about this rescue

Good Dog Rescue is an all-breed rescue group headquartered in the South. Our group is comprised of volunteers all over the Southeast who love dogs and want to help those that end up homeless through no fault of their own. Loyal and loving dogs turn up every day in Southern shelters, as owners turn them in or they’re found roaming the streets after being dumped. To the best of our abilities, we evaluate all of our Good Dogs’ temperament and suitability for living with other dogs, cats, and children. A dog’s health is checked, and we make sure they are up-to-date on all shots and are spayed or neutered. Then, we place them in loving foster homes until they find their very own family. Our goal is to meet the needs of each dog as an individual and to assure proper placement in a loving forever home.
